Kitchens We Have Actually Supplied

Photographs of finished rooms are worth more than any description of a door profile, because they show the thing nobody can describe: how a finish behaves in real light, against a real floor, at the scale of a real room. These are ours.

What the three sets show

Custom Kitchen Cabinet is finished kitchens — complete runs, islands, and the way tall units meet wall cabinets. Look at the reveals between doors and the line where the run meets the ceiling; those are the details that separate a fitted kitchen from an assembled one. Custom Closet is walk-in and reach-in storage in the same finishes, which is what makes it possible to carry one door style through a whole house. Work In Progress is the least photogenic and the most useful: cabinets part-built and part-fitted, where you can see the box, the frame and the joinery before the doors go on.

How to use these when you are choosing

Pick two or three photographs you keep coming back to and work out what they have in common — it is usually the door profile and the depth of the color rather than the layout. Then find that door in the collections and order a sample of it. A photograph tells you what a finish looks like under a photographer's lighting; a sample door tells you what it looks like in your kitchen at four in the afternoon, which is the one that matters.

The unglamorous set is the one to study

Most cabinet galleries show only the finished room, which is the easiest thing in the world to make look good. The Work In Progress set is there because a half-built kitchen tells you what you are actually buying: the thickness of the box, how the back is fixed to the wall, how square the cabinet boxes are before the doors hide everything. If you are comparing suppliers, that is the set worth putting side by side.

Where these kitchens are

These rooms are in and around metro Atlanta, supplied from the warehouse at 6115 Jimmy Carter Blvd, Suite E in Norcross. We deliver across seventy cities in the metro area, or you can collect. If your room needs sizes the stock range does not cover, that is what custom cabinetry is for.
