The Haven collection is Rest Cabinetry's softest-edged framed range. Every door is a five-piece build with a mortise-and-tenon frame and a flat recessed center panel, and what separates Haven from our other framed collections is the rounded inside bevel - the inner edge of the frame is eased rather than cut square. It is a small thing on one door and an obvious one across a full wall of them, which is why Haven suits kitchens meant to feel calm rather than sharp.
Haven doors come two ways. The painted finishes use a five-piece painted HDF door; the stained finish uses a solid birch mortise-and-tenon frame with a veneered MDF flat recessed center panel. Both sit on a framed cabinet with full-overlay doors and drawers, and both run on concealed European-style hinges with soft close as standard rather than as an upgrade. Cabinet boxes are plywood - Rest Cabinetry keeps a strict no-particleboard policy across every collection.
Haven comes in three finishes - Dune, Ember and Sage - a warm neutral, a deeper tone and a muted green. Behind those three finishes sit more than 900 individual cabinet sizes, so a Haven kitchen rarely has to compromise on a run length. The collection covers wall cabinets, base cabinets, tall cabinets, vanities, fillers and panels, mouldings and accessories, which means the trim and filler strips match the doors instead of being approximated afterwards.
Haven works in transitional kitchens - houses that are not strictly traditional and not strictly modern. The rounded bevel and flat panel keep the surface easy to wipe down, so it is a practical choice for a family kitchen as much as a design one. Because the same three finishes run through base, wall, tall and vanity units, Haven is also a simple way to carry one look from the kitchen into a bathroom.
Every Haven cabinet leaves Norcross as an RTA — ready-to-assemble — carton rather than a finished box. The plywood panels, the solid wood door, the soft-close hinges and the drawer hardware all travel flat, which is why a small kitchen in this collection fits in a pickup truck instead of a box truck. Assembly is done on site with ordinary tools. Check the cartons before you open them: unopened RTA cabinets in original condition are the only ones we are able to take back.
Haven is held at our Norcross warehouse, 6115 Jimmy Carter Blvd, Suite E. Collect it there or have it delivered, and every order ships with a tracking number. Every collection is made up of the same parts - wall cabinets, base cabinets, sink bases, drawer bases, corner units, glass door cabinets and pantry cabinets, closed off with moldings and fillers.
