Wood range hoods in four shapes — Asheville curved, Charlotte sloped, Raleigh tapered and Wilmington angled — across thirteen moulding profiles and 104 sizes. Every one ships unfinished, which is the point: a hood painted or stained to match the doors you actually chose belongs to the kitchen, and one that arrives in somebody else’s white never quite does. Collected from the Norcross warehouse.

A wood range hood is the one piece of cabinetry in a kitchen that is looked at directly rather than in passing. It sits at eye level over the range, it is usually the tallest object on the wall, and it is what most people photograph. Rest Cabinetry supplies range hoods unfinished, which is the reason to buy them here rather than as a finished unit: an unfinished hood can be painted or stained to match the cabinets you have actually chosen, instead of approximated to them.
We stock four hood profiles across more than 100 sizes and configurations, so the hood can be matched to the width of the range and the height of the ceiling rather than the other way round. All are supplied raw and ready for finish.
Because the hood arrives unfinished, it can be taken in three directions. Painted to match a painted collection - Shaker, Oxford, Haven or Classic - it disappears into the run and the kitchen reads as one piece. Stained, it can be made to sit with a wood-tone door such as Cotton Oak, Essence Oak or Walnut. Or it can be deliberately contrasted, which is the usual choice with a white or gray kitchen where the hood is meant to be the focal point. The same logic applies to a shop finish: because the substrate is bare, a painter can color-match it to a sample door.
Two dimensions decide most of it: the width of the range below and the ceiling height above. A hood that is too narrow looks like an afterthought and a hood that is too tall closes a room down. Bring both measurements - and a photo of the wall - and we will tell you which profile and size will sit correctly before anything is ordered.
Range hoods are worth ordering alongside the cabinet run rather than after it, because the finish only wants deciding once. Ours are made in the USA and supplied paintable or stainable, so the hood and the RTA cabinets around it can be taken to the same color. Send the range width and the ceiling height with your cabinet layout and we will tell you which profile fits the opening.
Hoods are held at 6115 Jimmy Carter Blvd, Suite E, Norcross, for pickup or delivery, tracked. A 12-month limited warranty covers cabinets, door hinges and drawer glides. Call 470 564-9496 or send your range width and ceiling height.
Hoods are supplied unfinished so they can be painted or stained to match the cabinets rather than approximated to them. If the kitchen is going in natural wood, the hood is stained to the same tone; against a painted run it is usually painted to match the perimeter.
Every collection is made up of the same parts - wall cabinets, base cabinets, sink bases, drawer bases, corner units, glass door cabinets and pantry cabinets, closed off with moldings and fillers. The ordering process from measuring to collection is on Atlanta kitchen cabinets, and the same doors are used for bathroom vanities, laundry rooms, mudrooms, office built-ins and closets - see Atlanta cabinetry.
Guides for this collection: A hood is the one cabinet everybody looks at directly, and it is sized to the range rather than to the wall. Read sizing and finishing a wood hood, painted, stained or wood and where to draw a two-tone line. If the layout is not settled yet, start with the standard size grid and how to measure your kitchen.
