Soft-close is standard across the main collections, and it is worth understanding what it is: a damper in the hinge for doors, and an undermount runner for drawers. The drawer runner is the part that carries weight and the part that eventually shows wear.
What kills a runner is not use, it is load and misuse - a drawer packed past its rating, or a drawer used as a step. Full-extension undermount runners are rated by weight, and a deep pan drawer full of cast iron is closer to that rating than people assume.
Hinges are adjustable in three directions and will need adjusting once, a few months after installation, as the house settles and the doors find their positions. A dishwasher needs to sit next to the sink, because it shares the drain and the supply, and it needs its door to open without hitting the range or an island. That rules out the position beside a corner cabinet - an open dishwasher door blocks the corner unit entirely. It is a five-minute check on a plan and a permanent annoyance if it is missed.
