Most white kitchens are not designed white; they end up white, one compromise at a time. The tall pantry comes from a different line because the first one did not have the height, the glass uppers are a different white because the first range had none, and the bathroom vanity is a third white again. Shaker White avoids that, because it carries 369 sizes, more than any other Shaker finish we hold.
Shaker White has no warmth underneath. It is the white that photographs the way people expect a white kitchen to look, and it sits most naturally beside cool quartz, stainless and a gray or white floor. If the floor is warm oak or the room faces north, read the undertone decision first: a softer white such as Shaker Origami White, or the warm Shaker Antique White, may suit the room better.
Put the tall cabinets at the ends of a run, not in the middle. A pantry or oven cabinet at the end of a wall closes the run off cleanly; one in the middle splits the counter into two short pieces. Decide the wall cabinet height first and choose the tall cabinets to line up with it, so the top line runs through.
Use glass doors sparingly. Two glass-door uppers either side of a window or a hood give the wall a centre; a whole run of glass turns the inside of the cabinets into the decoration, which means everything in them is on show. Remember the inserts: on Shaker White the glass is sold separately from the door. Glass-door cabinets covers the options.
Carry the white into the rest of the house. The vanity sizes mean a bathroom can match the kitchen, and the same boxes work in a laundry room; see kitchen cabinets as a bathroom vanity and laundry room cabinets.

The door is five-piece: solid wood stiles around a recessed plywood centre panel, at full overlay, with five-piece drawer heads to match. The box is 1/2" solid plywood with a natural wood veneer interior under a UV coat, and the outside of the box matches the door. Drawers are 5/8" solid wood dovetail boxes with 1/2" plywood bottoms, on full-extension soft-close undermount glides, and the hinges are soft-close and six-way adjustable.
It ships ready to assemble. What sits inside a well-made box, and why it matters more than the colour, is covered in what is inside a kitchen cabinet box.
Shaker White is held at the Norcross warehouse at 6115 Jimmy Carter Blvd, Suite E, beside the other whites, which is the only reliable way to compare them. The range also includes 12 and 18 inch sample door panels, if you want a door at home against your own floor.
