Cabinetry is the word for all of it - the kitchen, the vanity, the laundry run, the mudroom bench, the office wall and the closet. Rest Cabinetry works across every one of them from a warehouse at 6115 Jimmy Carter Blvd, Suite E, Norcross, GA 30071, and the distinction that matters to a customer is not the room. It is whether the job comes out of stock or has to be made.
Stock means the cabinet already exists in a standard size and is sitting in Norcross. Nine collections, all-plywood boxes with a strict no-particleboard policy, and tens of thousands of size variations across the range. You can collect it the same day. Most kitchens, most laundries and most bathroom vanities are built entirely from stock, because standard sizes exist for a reason - appliances and plumbing are standard too.
Custom is what happens when the room will not accept a standard box: a mudroom bench, shelving spanning an awkward wall, a closet, an island that is not a multiple of three inches. Customers supply the room measurements, the space is surveyed, and the design is modelled in 3D against the chosen sizes and style before anything is built.
Most projects are a mixture, and knowing which parts are which is what stops a budget moving halfway through. A mudroom is usually stock tall cabinets either side of a custom bench; an office is stock base cabinets under custom shelving.

A cabinet is a box with a door on it. The door is what gets chosen and the box is what determines whether the run is still square in ten years.
Every carcase here is all-plywood. The difference shows in two places that nobody looks at on install day: under the sink, where a slow leak swells and crumbles particleboard while plywood dries out, and at the screw points, where plywood keeps holding a fixing that particleboard eventually releases - which is what makes a wall cabinet sag away from the wall years later.
Cabinets, hinges and drawer glides carry a 12-month limited warranty.
Nine collections cover shaker, slab, inset, raised-panel and handleless doors. The colour is chosen inside the collection rather than the other way round, and the stocked colours each have a page listing exactly what is held: white, grey, blue, green, black and charcoal, natural wood and brown and espresso.
A run is assembled from the same parts whatever the finish: wall cabinets, base cabinets, sink bases, drawer bases, corner units, glass door cabinets and pantry cabinets, closed off with moldings and fillers. Shop cabinets lists every collection.
The countertop comes after, not with: it is templated off the installed cabinets rather than off a drawing, which is why a counter is never ready on install day. Countertops covers that side.

In practice, scope. "Cabinets" usually means the boxes themselves; "cabinetry" is the whole fitted job - the run, the fillers, the panels and the way it meets the room. A stock kitchen is cabinets; a mudroom bench with lockers either side is cabinetry.
